Surviving Active Shooter Incidents

With the recent shooting attacks in theaters, malls, plants, service centers, schools and other public areas, this seminar to helps employers and institutions learn safety and protective practices for their customers, employees, students and stakeholders.

Marilyn Knight, MSW and Kenneth Wolf, Ph.D., are the presenters for the seminars. They have developed violence prevention programs for organizations including Fortune 500 companies, the United States Postal Service, the US Army, Intel, Eaton Corporation and educational institutions and municipalities.

The seminar will teach attendees how to assess risk, manage incidents and develop safety and protective practices for their employees, customer and stakeholders. Videos of actual active shooter incidents will be analyzed for discussion purposes.

This program is designed to encourage participants to understand vulnerabilities to threats, litigation exposures and strategies to review their existing health and safety program’s capabilities and preparedness.
